What Anglers Usually Ask First
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Core features are built to work offline, which matters when you lose signal on the water.
Does it track me?
PrimeBite has no ads or cross-app tracking. Version 1.7.0 does not send in-app usage events. RevenueCat uses a stable app-user ID to manage subscriptions and a limited setup-version label to compare first-time setup. This data is not sold or used for advertising.
Are location and photos required?
No. Both are optional. The app still works without them.
Can I back up my data?
Not yet. Your Logbook is local-first. Settings can copy exact or rounded data to your clipboard, but PrimeBite does not currently import that export as a backup.

Walleye
Lab studies show walleye feeding peaks at twilight — and drops off in both bright light and full darkness. That's why light conditions drive the Walleye rating.

Muskie are a cool-water fish. Activity and catch-rate studies point to cool-to-moderate spring and fall water as prime, with the bite dead in cold water and much slower in genuinely hot water. Water temperature leads the Muskie rating; moon phase is only a small nudge toward the new and full moon.
